Over 15 years, CSHG as hosted nearly two thousand students, who have nowadays fulfilled their dreams of becoming professionals in the hotel industry. During the course 08/09, with about 380 students, school statistics show the following results: Gender percentage: 55.6% male and 44.4% female students. Not all students are Galician: 73.7% Galician and 26.3% from outside Galicia. 31.6% are boarder students. Apart from students coming form other Spanish autonomous regions, there are also foreign students, mainly coming from Latino America, Portugal and Southern Asia.

Libraries The library hosts 9.000 volumes, including CDs and DVDs. There are books, magazines, manuals and films. In addition, students have access to all libraries in the University of Santiago de Compostela. Residence It is a three-story building inside the campus where about 180 students stay each year with full board during the eight-month course, except from Christmas and Easter. Sports An indoor multi-sports arena, two tennis courts, a gym and several outdoor pitches offer a wide variety of activities. Every afternoon a personal trainer guides students in their sport sessions. Public Transport Being the school attached to the USC, there are also discounts on public transport available for CSHG students. When attending theory classes, male students must wear suit, dark socks, shirt and tie. Female students must wear, dress or trousers. On the other hand, when attending hand-on practices, CSHG will supply with the appropriate uniforms for each course. Students will only complement the uniform with the elements indicated in the Internal Regulations document. |
